The
honorable ones the principle of SMP NEGERI 1 LURAGUNG, all teachers and
administration staff of SMP NEGERI 1 LURAGUNG and all my friends from grade 7-9
. Before I begin to give a speech, I would like to invite you to thank to Allah
the Almighty, Who has given us Mercy and Blessing, so we can meet together in
this blessing place. And also I don't forget to deliver sholawat and salam to
our prophet Muhammad SAW, Who has brought us from the darkness to the
brightness, so we are always in the right way.
Ledies and gentelmen,
November 10, we commemorate the national hero day. We commemorate the day when
our ancestor devote thought and effort to maintain the independence of our
country, Indonesia. The November 10, the heroes who died in battle shed blood,
sweat and tears to get the red-white flag, flag of Indonesia. Many heroic
stories are born on November 10, where
the first great battle of independence in Surabaya, East Java after the
proclamation of the independence of Indonesia.
The Great war occurred because the arrival
of the Dutch who want to re-colonize Indonesia after Japan surrendered
unconditionally to the Allies after the dropping of atomic bombs by the United
States on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The great battle is the national symbol of
Indonesian resistance against colonialism. Many heroic stories are born on this
day, where the brave of Bung Tomo, war fighters and volunteers from the society
with limited weapons fight against the allies 30,000 troops armed with tanks, airplanes,
and warships.
